Chance It and some other news

CHANCE IT has been entered to run at Newton Abbot on Saturday afternoon (1st September) when the first race will be at 1.55 p.m.

He is in the final race of the afternoon, at 5.25, which is a handicap hurdle over 2 miles 5 furlongs. There are 21 entries and he has been given a weight of 11st. The going is given as ‘Good’ at the moment and I’ll update you later in the week about plans to run.

I’m pleased to be able to announce that we have another horse to run in the name and colours of the Club.

OWNERS DAY is an 8 year old grey mare formerly trained by Neil Mulholland and owned by Robert and Lucy Dickinson.

She is by Fair Mix (IRE) out of Charmeille (FR) (by Exit To Nowhere (USA)). She was a winner on the flat and has won twice over hurdles – at Wincanton and Fakenham – however her form has been a little disappointing of late and we hope that the change of scenery will do her good. She is going very well at home and I would hope to be able to run her before the end of September.

Regards to you all,
Jim
